John Edward Smith sadly passed away on the 29th of October 1993 due to Emphasema. He was a beloved father to his four daughters Brenda,Tricia,Pauline and Alison and his son John.Born and bred in Bootle with his family in Bank Road.Sadly missed by all the family and will never be forgotten.xx-John used to love the horse races and meant a lot to all of us miss you millions and always will -xx.

John Smith was my grandad's name,
So nice and kind was he,
He never had much, but what he had,
He'd save and give to me.
I was my grandad's blue eye,
His special little girl,
My grandad loved me very much,
He'd say I was his world.
10 years ago my grandad died,
It really broke my heart,
I'd lived with grandad all my life,
And never thought we'd part.
My mum tells me stories,
Of how it used to be,
About things we used to do together.
Just Mum, Grandad and Me.
I really miss my grandad,
I think of him each day,
My love for him will never die,
And in my heart he'll stay.
